Yes, the headphones show a light whenever the camera is activated.
How do I activate the Halo camera?
You can either double tap the headphones on the right side or use the companion mobile app.
Does double-tapping the Halo headphones only take photos?
No, you can configure what you want the double-tap to do in the companion mobile app. By default, the double-tap captures a photo.
How long are the videos?
You can configure different video lengths on the companion mobile app. By default, the length is set to 10 seconds.
Will my photos and videos be uploaded to the cloud?
No, the photos and videos go straight to the Halo companion mobile app. They are only uploaded when you want to use the optional chat assistant. If you want complete privacy, you can configure the chat to use a local AI model.
How do I connect my Halo headphones to my phone?
Bluetooth.
Do the Halo's have a micrphone?
Yes, the Halo headphones have dual microphones.
What's the Halo camera aspect ration?
You can choose landscape or portrait pre-sets in the Halo companion mobile app.
What is the return policy?
You can return 30 day after date of shipping for a full refund.
Are any purchases final sale?
We will let you know two weeks before the ship date that your headphones are ready to ship. You can cancel for a full refund until then and a week after the email. Check returns dropdown for returns after shipping.
When will I get my order?
Pre-Order shipping is scheduled for March 2026. We will keep you updated if anything changes.
Where are the Halo headphones manufactured?
Halo headphones are designed, manufactures and shipped from our HQ in Brooklyn, New York (USA).
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. US orders include free shipping.
Do you sell my images?
No, we do not sell advertisements. Your images stay on the device and your phone's photo library unless you specifically upload them to use the cloud AI chat feature in the Halo companion mobile app.
Do you have a retail location?
Not yet. Stay tuned.
Can I pick up my Halo headphones instead of having them shipped?
Of course! Send an email using the "Contact-Us" form and we will schedule a pick-up. Please note we are currently not allowing visitors until we start shipping so we can get orders out in time.
What is your warranty policy?
Halo headphones come with a one-year, no questions asked warranty. You will get a new replacement when you return the one you have.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, gift-wrapping is available as option at checkout for free.
